Interface Electronics now offers a multimedia solution for your organization - The Cone of Silence.  This revolutionary product is designed to deliver high quality stereo sound to individuals underneath the Cone without disturbing others near them.  The patented design delivers a column of sound directly below the sphere providing crisp clear stereo sound.  Outside the column, sound level drops 80% so that adjacent individuals are not bothered by the audio content.  Two versions of the system are available.  The COS-20 is a compact 20" diameter cone, and the standard product, COS-32 is 32 inches across.  Designed to mount from the ceiling or with an optional boom, the Cones of Silence may be mounted over workstations or kiosks in libraries and schools as well as high noise environments.
